Drainage Under Ground Pipes

The FloPlast 110mm Underground Drainage System, gullies traps pipe and man hole complies where applicable with the requirements of the following British Standards. BS EN 1401: 1998 PVC-U Underground Drainage System. BS4660: 1989 PVC-U Underground Drain Pipes and Fittings. BS EN 124: 1994 Access Covers Gratings and Frames. BS EN 124: 1994 Access Covers Gratings and Frames. Drainage Pipe has a British Standard Kitemark. Application
FloPlast Underground Drainage System is designed for use in gravity drainage and sewerage installations of depths up to ten metres.

Composition
All drainage pipes and the majority of fittings are manufactured from Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U). Inspection chambers, gully traps and gully grids are manufactured from polypropylene.

Colour
Pipes and fittings are manufactured in Golden Brown with exceptions as indicated in the product guide. FloPlast PVC-U pipes are supplied in secure bundles bound with straps within timber frames. FloPlast recommend that movement of these is carried out by fork lift or other mechanical device using webbing or rope strings. Fittings are generally supplied in plastic bags and should be stored away from direct sunlight. If they have to be stored outside, the bags should be opened to prevent temperature build-up.

475mm Polypropylene Inspection Chamber (PPIC) Manufactured in durable polypropylene, the base has inlets of 45° and 90° on both sides, giving flexibility for most connections.

The base is supplied with blanking plugs, which can be removed to suit the installation requirement. The chamber can be built by using the 175mm Extension Risers (D922) up to an invert depth of 1000mm.

When building brick built or concrete ring man holes, where depths are greater than 1000mm, the pre-formed PPIC base can be utilised.

300mm Mini Access Chamber (MAC) FloPlast\'s new and innovative design for the MAC, brings unrivalled flexibility to the underground drainage market.

The MAC has flexible connections on all inlets, with a movement of 10º in any direction (20º overall), which in many cases may alleviate the need for an extra bend, to provide a cost saving for the installation.

A variety of permutations are available for inlet and outlet combinations, by using the blanking plugs supplied. The base can be built up using a choice of extension risers, 100mm (D820)/200mm(D822) and a sealed, screwed down cover and frame to an invert depth of 600mm.

All in all the FloPlast MAC is the most innovative and flexible chamber on the market.
