Reflex means that the rooflight can be mechanically fixed to existing kerbs of varying dimensions, without the use of a kerb adaptor.
Moulded in Marlon FSX Longlife, Mardome Reflex's glazing is up to 200 times stronger than glass. The high resistance to adverse weather conditions and breakage means The Reflex is a very safe and reliable dome rooflight option.
The Reflex is available in a curved dome, in either clear, bronze or opal tints or a textured glazing option. A wide range of sizes in double and triple skin polycarbonate glazing are ex-stock.
On larger domes the opal finish is recommended to reduce heat build up.
All sizes quoted are internal day light sizes.
Direct fix
Reflex rooflights are designed to be fitted directly to existing builders’ upstands.
Ensure the upstand is constructed within the dimensions shown to the right.
Apply the foam sealant to either the top surface of the upstand or the underside of the dome fixing flange.
Align the rooflight squarely onto the upstand and pre-drill Æ5mm - Æ6mm holes through all layers of polycarbonate at each fixing point. Space the fixings evenly along each side.
Using the fixings kits supplied, secure the rooflight through the pre-drilled holes.
Triple skin domes should be used to comply with building regs single and double skins are suitable on sheds and garages
All roof dome are manufactured to order returns are not permitted so please check your sizes before ordering.
